Does the holiday season bring both joy and stress in equal measure? Prepare your body, mind and nervous system for the challenges of the upcoming holiday season. Restorative yoga uses props to support the body, allowing for expansiveness and ease while stimulating the body’s innate healing abilities. Learn to listen to the subtle messages the body shares with us, to alert us to stress, anxiety and illness. This workshop will enable us to explore the benefits of bringing awareness and balance to the body- mind. Join in and give yourself the gift of self-care and nurturing. We will do restorative poses and play with the breath as well as experimenting with some simple meditation techniques to bring us firmly into the present moment.
Vickie Russell Bellhas been studying yoga since 1990 and began teaching in 1994 in Ohio. Her teaching style emphasizes body awareness, alignment, and the integration of mindfulness and ease in Hatha yoga practice and daily life. She is a graduate of the PYS Advanced Studies Program and a certified “Relax & Renew” trainer.
Appropriate for yogis of all levels.
