Prenatal yoga is an amazing way to prepare your body and mind for labor and motherhood while relieving many pains and discomforts of pregnancy. The classes are taught to embrace both the novice and experienced yoga practitioner in this special time. We offer two weekly prenatal yoga classes at Namaste:

*First Wednesday of every month we open our class up for women to bring their partners at no cost. If you do not have a partner available you are still highly encouraged to come on your own.
Post-Natal 6-Week Series
with Cynthia Denise
Mondays, begins again every other month.
Postnatal Yoga (also called Mom & Baby) addresses the aches, pains and energy challenges of the postpartum parent (dads are welcome). Each class starts with a check-in so that moms/dads can give each other support and feedback and the teacher can create a class that addresses the current needs and physical level of the group. Pre-crawling babies.
Baby holders are available during class.
This series focuses on yoga postures and movements that develop flexibility, muscle tone, and strength with ease and healthy alignment. The series starts at the beginning of each month but drop-in’s are welcomed. The classes provide a place to relax and unwind and allow new moms to reconnect with themselves in the presence of their newborn child.
Every 2nd Monday of the month and 3rd Thursday of the month the postnatal class will include infant massage. Please bring a blanket for your baby. Massage oil and towel will be provided.

Prenatal massage helps to reduce stress, decrease swelling, relieve aches and pains, and reduce anxiety and depression. The massage is customized to a woman’s individual needs. The following practitioners at Namaste are experienced in pre- and post-natal massage.
